The activities of the Foresight Division of the Estonian Development Fund are targeted at analyzing technological and field-specific development trends in the world, forecasting long-term developments of the state of Estonia in the light thereof and helping the decision-makers (incl. entrepreneurs, politicians, and officials) make relevant management related decisions. EST_IT@2018 foresight project goal is to find out the sectors where ICT during upcoming ten years could contribute the most for the growth of Estnoian economy and society. Foresight project first phase will map out the global growing technology trends which Estonia could benefit the most. The goal is to have a shortlist of technologies what could influence the most the development of Estonian economy and society.
